What is WILO?

WILO stands for Where I Left Off. It is Narro's read-position marker: a line across your feed at the last post you read, so you start there next time. Because Narro only shows the people you follow, with no algorithm or ads padding the feed, the feed has an actual end. WILO is what brings you back to your spot on the way to it.

How do I get caught up on social media instead of scrolling forever?

You can't on Instagram or TikTok. Those feeds are infinite by design, so there is no caught up. Narro shows only the people you follow, in order, then stops. WILO marks where you left off, so you come back to your spot and read forward to the end.

What does WILO stand for?
Where I Left Off. It's Narro's read-position marker, the line across your feed at the last post you read.
How does WILO know where I stopped?
It tracks the actual post that was last in your view and draws the line there. Open the feed later and you start on the line, with new posts above and seen posts below.
Can WILO skip me past posts I haven't read?
No. The line is forward-only. It moves down as you read and never jumps you ahead of a post you haven't opened.
Does my place sync between my phone and computer?
Yes. WILO is stored per feed on the server, so the same spot loads on web and mobile.
How can a feed ever be caught up?
Narro only shows the people you follow, with no algorithm, recommendations, or ads filling the gaps. That makes the feed finite, so you can read to the end. Instagram and TikTok are infinite by design and never end.
